CyberFirst North East is a partnership of Industry and educational expertise consisting of RTC North, Kings Priory Digital and CyberNorth.

CyberFirst is a programme of opportunities to help young people explore their passion for tech by introducing them to the fast paced world of cyber security.

CyberFirst

Our core mission is to inspire and nurture talent by supporting young people to gain the skills, experience, and exposure they need to be the future first line of defence in our CyberFirst world.

Our Partners

The STEM Hub manages the STEM Ambassador programme across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham, and Tees Valley. They engage diverse STEM volunteers to inspire young learners, demonstrating practical applications of STEM subjects. With over a thousand dedicated volunteers, they support STEM education, careers, and hands-on learning.

Kings Priory Digital is part of the Kings Priory School group, who lead the educational aspect of CyberFirst North East, they also lead the National Centre for Computing education Cyber Specialist team and the North East and Northumberland Teach computing hub which provides CPD and teaching resources to computing teachers across the region.

CyberNorth serves as the cyber security hub for North East England, welcoming organizations and individuals in the sector. It's a community of businesses, influencers, academia, and innovators fostering expertise, collaboration, and national competitiveness.
